Elina
Cello
Elina studied cello performance at the Rubin Academy of Music in Tel Aviv
and has received her B.M and M.M. degrees from The Mannes College of Music in
New York City. Originally from Helsinki, Finland, she has performed with the
Helsinki Philharmonic, Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra and the Jerusalem Symphony
Orchestra. Elina is an active chamber music performer in New York and is the
former principal cellist of The Herzilya Chamber Orchestra in Israel where she
also won the orchestra's solo artist competition. She currently performs with
several orchestra's as an active free-lance cellist in the NY metropolitan area
and has performed with several Broadway shows. She is curently a cello teacher
on the faculty of several private lesson conservatories in the area.
