Amy has performed as soloist with the Henry Street Settlement Orchestra and the Northeastern Orchestra. She has appeared as a soloist in numerous recitals including Carnegie Recital Hall. "She plays with such ravishingly limpid tone," Bill Zachariasen, NY Daily News. She won the Artists International Award for chamber music. Amy performs with various groups including the New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players. She has been featured on WQXR's The Listening Room, as well as on NBC's 5 O'clock news.

Amy is the original flutist with "The Capriccio Ensemble" and also gave it this title ("The Capriccio Ensemble") which is fully trademarked.
